Items require to register?
You will need to do this on a desktop or laptop web browser only. Note: you will need to sign an online W-9, Field Inspector Agreement and Code of Conduct.
How much do the site inspections pay?
Fees may vary from $25-$100 based on the type of inspections and by zip code. You will receive inspection orders only within your zip code coverage area. Your travel expenses are your own cost and will not be reimbursed as they are included in the flat fee.
Is a background check required?
Yes. Please click on the following link to complete your basic background check with Backgrounds Online (https://www.backgroundsonline.com/products-and-services). If you have already completed background check, please email the document to email@example.com.
What are the different types of inspections?
We do various types of property inspections including Commercial and Residential properties, Interior/Exterior, Door-Knock, Letter Delivery, and Business Verification Inspections.
Am I required to sign up for all inspection types?
No. You choose the types of inspections you would be willing to complete.
Is training required for site inspectors?
Yes. An online course is required for certain type of inspections.
Can I update my default username?
Yes. It is not case sensitive or require any special characters.
How long does it take to complete an inspection?
It depends on the type of inspection. It may vary from 15 minutes up to 45 minutes.
How do upload multiple zip codes for my coverage area?
Download the Excel spreadsheet provided and enter all the zip codes in column A.
How often will I receive site visit orders?
Orders will be assigned based on your performance rating and your zip code coverage on a daily/weekly basis.
How frequently will I be paid?
Monthly. All inspections completed the previous month will be paid on the 1st week of the following month. All payments will be direct deposited. So your banking information (routing number and account number) will be required.
Will notifications be received when site visits are assigned?
Yes. You will receive assignments via email and via mobile app notifications. Site visits are assigned by site inspectors’ selected zip code coverage areas. Site inspectors have the option to accept or decline any assigned work within their coverage area.
How many days are allowed to complete site visits?
Once site visits are assigned, you must complete inspections within 7 to 10 days. (Note: If orders are assigned as a “Rush Order”, completion is required within 24-48 hours.)
Can site visits be assigned to sub-inspectors?
Yes. Site inspectors can set up sub-inspectors under their profiles, however, the site inspector will be responsible for insuring all accepted assignments are completed by their sub-inspectors.
How many pictures are required?
The number of photos required is based on the inspection type. On average, its 15 to 20 pictures (Front view, address, street sign, business signage, hours of operations, suites number, parking lot (if applicable).
I received an email that my account has been approved but I am not able to log-in?
Sometimes it takes a couple hours for the system to update. If you are still unable to log in after 4 hours you can email firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
Is insurance is required ?
Yes. Current auto insurance is required. You will also need to input your driver license number and expiration date.
